New Addition: The Alexander Wang Rocco Replica

Ever since I saw the AW Rocco I knew I had to have it. But, being a broke college student there was no way I could afford a $875 bag. So I set out to find a replica.

One of my favorite bloggers, Victoria, had posted about this Rocco replica she scored on eBay. I immediately fell in love and bought one myself! I just got it yesterday and I love it. It's my new favorite, next to my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag.

 

This bag is made of nice imitation leather. My boyfriend said it looks expensive, even though it was $32.90!  There's a zip pocket on the side and the interior has two pockets for a cellphone and iPod. The straps aren't long enough to be worn on the shoulder, so I carry it around my arm. It gets kinda heavy if you're like me and carry a lot of stuff.

Here's what I can carry in it so you can see how much it holds:

Notepad, pen case, wallet, eReader, bus schedules, a book, keys, mirror, 2 lip glosses, glasses case, lotion, chapstick, iPod, and Blackberry. This is what I basically carry at all times. It can probably fit a little more too!

I bought the bag from here. The seller was very nice and shipped my package as soon as she could. It took about two weeks. I also ordered another AW replica bag as well, a Diego look alike. The seller has a lot of other replica bags as well. I know this shipping is a little pricey, so you could always search 'bottom studded bag' on eBay. There are plenty of other listings with cheaper (even free!) listings.

I'm currently sick, plus I have to get ready to move back to college Monday, and there's a hurricane hitting the east coast. What a weekend it will be.

New Additions

Yesterday I went to the mall with my friend Gabby. I had bought a cute varsity jacket from Forever 21 (on sale too!) but when I tried it on the jacket fit but was too short for me. So I exchanged it for some new goodies.

 I totally love this necklace. I've been wanting new necklaces for awhile, so I was happy to pick this one out. It can be a nice accent to an edgy outfit.

 This wine-colored chiffon skirt was only $10! I reminds me of the skirts at American Apparel, but it's waaay cheaper. Wine is starting to become my new favorite color to wear.

I got this shirt at JCPenney, also for $10. Voltron was a cartoon from the 80's that came out before Transformers. I love pop culture/cartoon t-shirts. 

Say hello to my new varsity jacket! I saw this in H&M after I bought the other jacket in Forever 21. I liked this one so much better because it was longer on me. Even though it was more money, I caved in and bought it while returning the other. I gotta learn not to but jackets at Forever 21 because they fit too short.

School starts in three weeks, which means I move back in 2! I've already started the early stages of pre-production for my senior thesis film with my producer Alexa. I'm so excited to go back to school and get to work!

Handbag Lust

I have fallen in love with this bag by Alexander Wang:

This is the Alexander Wang Rocco bag. It's quite popular among the celebrities like the Olsen twins, and who can blame them? It's a great bag! The black pebbled leather looks beautiful, plus the studs on the bottom add a great edge. Just my style. However, it retails at $875, which it something I definitely cannot afford. Maybe if I save? Haha. I ordered a Rocco look alike bag from eBay a few weeks ago. We'll see how it looks once I get it!

So I had deleted this blog because I wasn't keeping up with it as much as I liked to. Plus I didn't think I had anything interesting to say, but actually I live quite an interesting life as an NYU Film student. Now my summer is almost over and I'm going into my senior year. I'll be competing to make a senior thesis film so the semester will be exciting.
